2010 WRTC – Spots analysis MS Excel workbook by Bob K0RC

Bob K0RC has put together an ms Excel workbook so the spots data can be sorted as you please. You can download it by clicking here.

Thanks so much Bob for your help.  I really was pleased when I received the news from Al 4L5A about the overspotting performed by Willy UA9BA. R36F is not any of the top teams. Nonetheless the impact of such actions is still there because the teams below R36F should be some places higher in the final standings.

Al also noted that spotting is not the only way of cheerleading and I believe he is right.    Hopefully this can be reviewed for future editions of WRTC.

Looks like the top seven teams are really having fun!! The QSO average is really nice for the first seven hours. The top three possitions changed a little throughout this period. Hope the all have lots of fun.

Remember that there is a dx spots analysis that automatically updates every hour so feel free to take a look at it at: http://www.5bits.net/lu5dx/2010-wrtc-spots-analysis/ nothing to fancy just a simple breakdown of the spots that the WRTC stations are producing, overall and hour by hour.

Over 80 confirmed attendees to the LUCG aniversary party.!

Diego LU8ADX has confirmed that over eighty team members will attend next Saturday at LT1F’s atenna farm.  Diego, together with Fabian LU1AEE and Juan Pablo LU8ADX have organized the event taking every possible detail into account. On the other hand Karl LU1FKR owner of LT1F, Lucas LU1FAM and other buddies have helped with the logistics on-site.

Considering the LUCG has over 240 members in total, spreaded accross a vast territory the attendance rate is very high!! Members located over 1000 miles away from Rosario will attend!! Though this is the 10th aniversary of the Group, this is the second meeting we’ve had in ten years, but people are already asking for a repeat.

We really look forward to meeting all friends next Saturday. Most of them have never ever met in person, though they surely have made lots of Qs among them.  We want to thank in advance  Karl LU1FKR (LT1F) for hosting this meeting, Diego LU8ADX (AY8A) , Fab LU1AEE, Juan Pablo LU4DX (AY4D), Luc LU1FAM (LO2F), Bob LU2FA (LR2F) and many others for making this happen.
